    Interactive Brokers and automatic liquidation

The margin requirements for Portfolio Margin accounts are calculated in the same way at all Prime Brokers. This haircut is the minimum assets required for the portfolio. Every broker can then ask for more, but not less capital at their discretion. Many recently have raised margin requirements...

    Slippage of MOO/MOC

    Slippage of MOO/MOC

It sounds to me like what you need is an accurate Open/Close price data source of the primary markets, NYSE, NYSE ARCA and NASDAQ, and the websites you're using don't offer that.

options on results of stock screeners

I believe unless your goal is to actively scalp or volatility trade options, you should not look at the options first. Decide on a trading strategy for the security first. You want to be long, short or believe nothing will happen over a period of time with that security. Then, look at the...

    Slippage of MOO/MOC

If you route your orders to the primary exchange, not a smart or managed route, there is one price that everyone gets. Smart routes and managed routes for open and close don't require best execution because no one know what the market is yet.

    Interactive Brokers and automatic liquidation

5x margin is not accurate. They will use the same PM calculator as other firms offering PM, but some firms are stricter during times of high volatility. For the most part, PM offer more leverage than Reg-T, unless your buying very cheap options. Reg-T might have a small edge.

    option spread legging

1- You can leg as much as you want, but you'll be at the risk of the market. So for condors, if you think the security is trending up, you can try to sell the put spread near mid market, then offer a limit call spread higher than the offer and hope your right. 2-The floor and the complex...

    Yrcw?

YRCW is a REG SHO stock, so no one can short it: http://www.nasdaqtrader.com/Trader.aspx?id=RegSHOThreshold CIT traded the same way before it went bankrupt and went to zero. I don't have an opinion on YRCW.

what is the best way to build a track record?

In my opinion, simulated trading will have no value to an investor unless the trading is all systematic, then it will have nominal value. Non-systematic trading that's simulated, has no fear or greed. Without that, no truly have no idea how your behavior will change with real trading.
