The National Football League: 2009 edition

I agree. There's a reason he fell to #22 in the draft when teams that NEEDED QB's said no thanks. Of course the homers out here, esp the women, are in love w/ him. Me, I'd rather have DA back there with an Edwards that can catch the f'in ball. W/o a #1 WR that can catch though, doesn't...

The National Football League: 2009 edition

So I was @ the Browns/Minn game. It was like 2 different games... 1st half: Browns D looked stellar & kept AP in check to 25 total rushing yards. 2nd half: Since our offense was horrendous, being on the field so long caught up to the D and AP was off to the races. Out here the talk...

    Just an idea

I haven't traded options in quite awhile but what you've outlined there provides 2 out of 3 options costing you money. You only win if the stock goes down. Make sure you can pick them that day.

These Ratings Of Open E Cry Is A Joke

Or the negative reviews are posted by competitors hoping to hurt OEC's business. Bottom line - there's no way to know who is actually providing those ratings and should be taken lightly. DO YOUR OWN DILIGENCE BEFORE SELECTING A FIRM TO TRADE WITH.

    Free Nison webinar

Nison is now a referral whore. That's all that clown does - markets other people's stuff b/c his stuff isn't selling like it used to. I use candlestick analysis and it mostly came from Steve's work but since he decided there wasn't any more $$$ in writing books or his own DVDs, he now just...

Trading is exactly like being at the poker table in Vegas...

And another trading is like gambling thread... this premise has been beaten to a bloody pulp on this site. The result - you either think it's gambling b/c you have no edge or you know it's anything but gambling b/c you do have an edge.

    Tim Sykes dvd's

Yes, thanks - that sums it all up. Just like when you see a hammer or stochastics turn up, go long. That's all that's needed.

The National Football League: 2009 edition

I would agree! Hopeful optimism at this point. Probably shifts to depressing realism. And then moves to anticipation of next year. Repeat process each year until they put something together resembling a NFL caliber team.

The National Football League: 2009 edition

I think DA should be our QB but very doubtful. I think everyone wants the pretty boy in. As for Edwards, I can only hope that in a contract year he decides to show up. I hope that last year was a fluke and he remembers how to catch the ball. The guys on ESPN said it best today when they...

The National Football League: 2009 edition

The guy has nice writeups and quite a few of us enjoy reading them, so yes, it is 'by popular demand'.

Interested in taking a look at these, so if you have any to sell drop me a note. PS I know some around here hate him, but I don't care. :D

DOM ACV and bid/ask WALL used tgether

So how do you play the wall then? You don't want to front run it b/c it could break the wall or it could be fake (and cause loss) and you don't suggest putting a limit order a few ticks from it... Trying to put the pieces together of how to use the wall to trade from. Maybe an actual...

DOM ACV and bid/ask WALL used tgether

I don't follow... Can you give an example of a trade setup? For instance, I've watched a few of Jack Broz's webinars and he discusses when you see a wall, put an order a few ticks above/below it initially and then watch to see if the wall holds. Do you front run the wall, get in line...

DOM ACV and bid/ask WALL used tgether

Good stuff Red! Regarding entries, how do you play the acv/wall? In other words, do you play the ACV (and how)? Do you play the wall (and how)? Next question - what market(s) do you watch for the ACV/Wall and how often do you see this occur each day? And do you watch these manually or...

DOM ACV and bid/ask WALL used tgether

I'll give a go at this and we can see where it goes... Let's assume one is just using their DOM to trade from, as VST discussed in this thread: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68098&perpage=6&pagenumber=1 So the ACV is simply when your ratio of bid to ask or ask...

DOM ACV and bid/ask WALL used tgether

Red - I agree, does seem like you need to capture it in real-time. If I remember, I'll try to grab some screenshots and then we can see how price is affected. Just a matter of having snagit ready to go. Care to explain what we are looking at? If anyone has links to these...

DOM ACV and bid/ask WALL used tgether

Red - thanks for replying, helps to know how you are using the ACV. As I mentioned above, I only noticed 1 wall today on the Euro, but it sure provided a spring board effect from there. Have you considered taking some screenshots and posting to the thread? One big disadvantage to using the...

DOM ACV and bid/ask WALL used tgether

Red - interesting thread. Found it from a link you posted elsewhere. Spent a little time reading this thread and a bit of the VSTscalper thread but have 1 question... Do you use ACV and/or walls to initiate trades or to monitor trades initiated on other things? Interesting observation...
