$300-$500 on OVERNIGHT margins? I've never heard of that. I realize daytrading margins are like that, but the original question was about overnight margins.

50 - so are you saying that if the CME sets the overnight at a price level a broker can willingly go below that for their clients? If so, I was not aware of that. Seems like that could cause some issues for someone at the brokerage firm or client. In the end the margin has to be made up...

tele - overnights are set by the exchanges, not individual brokers. So you will have the same overnight margins regardless of broker. As for the 3 minutes you are talking about, not sure if there is a way to skirt that and be considered intraday. I would just call/email around to brokers and ask.

Guys, I think you are missing the point of TV shows - they are to entertain, not teach you how to trade. They won't even let you see what stocks these guys are trading and that's fine with me. It's kind of like a reality TV show that has a Wall Street theme to it. That's it - just a TV show.

Good point Drew. They may be trying to build a knowledgeable audience base first and maybe we will see more later.

"... leading Indicators ... " Aren't all, if not most, leading indicators based on past information? If so, there is no such thing as a leading indicator, which could help explain why this thread was even started - in hopes of finding a leading indicator, which does not exist. Just my opinion.

I went to the NY Expo last year and it was not bad. Just be wary of all the salesmen there. And there will be many!
