I'll try. I printed out your post #160 hard copy and will see if I can digest it better.

I will review your 160 again. Somehow the kid's visuals stuck in my head. And recognizing market profiles gave me a grasp perhaps of some underpinning of AMT. I had not quite made the connection between profiles and AMT before. The whole thing just makes more sense now. I think the part...

"AMT" sounds large and nebulous. It may be. At this point in time I'm using it as an expanded way of understanding 'chop'... that is, the times I don't want to be trading. Times I'd likely be just going in and out of trades. Here is a 10 min video that simplifies AMT...

That's pretty much it. Mostly will be trading NQ, and posting at EOD or even EOW. I will post live to the extent it is not a distraction to trading. 50% retraces are watched, and Auction Market Theory is of interest.

As I understand it, this is not a set-up or and edge. It is a routine.

Son of If You Can Draw a Straight Line . . .

On reflection, my life outside of trading is complex. The times I lose focus are often due to external factors (apart from greed/fear we all have to sort through). So in this thread I'm thinking about doing something simple to the point it is second nature. Which is happening. I'll have...

Even 40D said once a week or so he had a day he just wasn't focused enough to trade. For me I enjoy thinking about the more or other than supply/demand and retracements, and those things make sense in a way... but it is the focus I'm working on. Somewhere Db said that trading is all about...

There is a swing low near the european open that we are back to, I was looking for a long soon after 10, and willing to stay in as on the hour chart it looked like a DB developed (from between 9 & 10 this AM) ...it's still viable based on the 50% ret concept

I was looking at a little bit above your green circle as when the retrace entry was viable... I guess I'm still in the blushing bride, er... groom, stage. But what you are saying makes sense. 10:28 there is a nice supply line for the short, but it's in jepardy Did we ever make...

the 1000 bar is 1 tick above the prior four, and they had dipped... In my mind that is a retrace and "BO" up And thanks Gringo, point well taken

On my data feed, the 959 bar made a retrace long att 11.5 There is another ret long at 1006, and the demand line is in jepardy at 1011... to fan or not to fan, that is the question... rather tis nobler to fear the slings or arrows of... traders unkonwn and... and... I'd better pay...
