I don't define support that way. Unless we're in a range, or approaching one, or we're in a trend channel, I just go where price leads me. Are you interested in this or just window-shopping? If you're still working 9 to 5, you're pretty much limited to the hourly bar, in which case you'd still...

I can take a minute now. You'll note that price gave it the ol' college try but couldn't gain traction. There were a couple of false starts on the 1m, no rets on the 5m. The op was presented when price dropped back below the SL. Gotta keep tryin'.

For our European Scribblers: Someone was asking about hourly bars but I can't find the post. If anyone is interested in that level of trade, don't be shy about asking questions. Those who can't daytrade needn't avoid futures.

Well, so much for that :). Currently testing the bottom of this. If it doesn't hold, 4440 may reassert itself. The timing for this is wrong, but "judge the market by its own action".

What have you learned from "Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?"?

Without a plan, they're also a good way to go broke. A great many beginners turn to options, and recently forex, because they all seem so cheap. But without viable trading plans, these beginners learn quickly that these "cheap" instruments are not quite as cheap as they appear to be.

    Trading Without Ego

Few people read old threads. Few people read anything other than the most recent post to a thread. It's a sort of ADHD :)

    The Trouble With Scribbles

If one knows the rules, there's no need to announce the trades. If one doesn't understand the rules, there would be no point in doing so. Hindsight charts have been posted, of course, along with the hindsight charts provided by the OP, such as those above. The difference is that the SLA trades...

AMT is what it is. I don't consider it to be a bias as price moves up and down away and towards the median. That it doesn't reach one limit or the other on that particular leg of the journey doesn't change the fundamental nature of price movement. If we don't reach 4600 on this leg, we will on...

    Price Action - NQ III

About that "premature exit"; not necessarily. Rules are ruies, and if price moving against you rather than sideways -- particularly if that movement comes all the way back to your entry after having confirmed the retracement -- prompts you to be concerned about the integrity of your trade, then...
