When you are trading these options day in day out you will know the flow and know if vol is bid or offered IF you don't notice it you will soon see it in your position :D

not everyone pays the same intrest rate ... not everyone is taxed the same way on dividends ... but for the rest all things except vol are constant

the above answer is not totally true, it depends on numerous things first of all what month are you talking ? dividends could change the picture, if I'm not mistaken, spy gives dividends one day before expiration, so a mm might prefer to wait for that.

allready had a good look at crude oil, it seems a bit too crazy for my taste, USD/CAD might however be a good alternative will have a look into that. Probably going to stick just to eur/usd, with the risk if having some days with no action at all. Better to have a bit lower consistant profits...
