Military on high alert- N. Korea renounces truce with S. Korea

SEOUL, South Korea – The U.S. and South Korea put their military forces on high alert Thursday after North Korea renounced the truce keeping the peace between the two Koreas since 1953. The North also accused the U.S. of preparing to attack the isolated communist country in the wake of its...

How Much Are Your Costs Per Share

You really have no negotiating power with only 350k shares/month. Even if you found a way to cut your commissions in half, it would only save you $700 per month. Stay with the 80:1 leverage until you start doing at least a million shares per month. At this point, the extra leverage will...

How Much Are Your Costs Per Share

You can get lower commissions but no one is going to beat 80:1 leverage. For that kind of risk, the firm has to charge extra. Personally, I wouldn't leave my capital with a firm giving out that kind of leverage to it's traders. All it takes is one halted stock and a few guys on the wrong...

.007 is awful. Assent does not start all their traders at that price. You must be getting ripped by one of the sub-LLC's that clear through Assent.

I Cannot Believe Pequot Capital Management Is Folding

It was easy for them to make money using inside information. SEC should have shut him down and thrown him in jail ten years ago.

My Experience at a Prop Firm

Thank you for admitting your failure. Like I said, I've seen it over and over, and everyone has the same rhetoric. Sorry that you didn't make money trading, but if you did a little DD before trying it you would realize there is a very slim success rate in the business. The very fact that...

My Experience at a Prop Firm

LOL. You scream failure. Seen guys like you for the last 10+ years. Lose money, blame the platform, lose money, blame the other traders, lose money, blame the techs, lose money, etc, etc, etc. Not sure which mook office you went to, but after reading your whining it's clear it was a sub...

TRYKtrading- You know nothing about Assent as your ridiculous drivel clearly demonstrates. Your stories are so wildly bad, I can't even imagine how fictitious the rest of your jibberish is.

If this is the Month That Faith Is Lost In Obama, Markets Crater

I guess the 1000's of other "we're doomed" threads you've started while the market rallied 40% over the last 2 1/2 months weren't good enough to state your case? I'm long term mega bearish too, but the market is being propped up by any and every means available to the government.

All time lows? Every single one of them is at least 25% off their 1 year lows, and a couple are up 100%.

How Much Are Your Costs Per Share

I have never heard of anything remotely close to those rates. I would have saved well over 500k just last year with that deal. I really find it hard to believe a firm can offer that and still make money.

Is a run on WFC and its failure really off the table?

It's amazing what banks can do with their accounting when they know the regulators will allow them (or even encourage them) to do it.
