    Trader P/L 2006

I sucked again, but was positive. System was slow during mass selloff, and I watched $43789023489023 flash before my eyes.

    The Prop Trading Industry EXPOSED

A guy who created an elaborate story about suddenly learning to make huge cash, while only faking it by using a Sterling Trader Pro demo to fake P&L. This guy should seriously write fantasy, it was truly an impressive tale.

    Trader P/L 2006

Today I did exactly what not to do to be successful at trading. First red day in about 25 sessions. Couldnt really make anything early, then got down and brain damaged my mood. Kept thinking "one good one and your right back in it!" and would just get dinked for $20 more and $40 more...

    Trader P/L 2006

I felt i actually traded fairly well given the low volume I experienced. Made some in GM that helped too.

Kinda frustrated all things considered, but no where near yesterdays level.

Prop Trading Firms - Note On Threatening Regulatory Developments

I would guess that if they are offering higher than 4:1 AND protecting your money under whatever the acronym is (spic? something like that), they are breaking rules. Prop LLC's share the risk but if you put 10k and get 100k bp and protect your money under retail laws thats not fair and deserves...

    Trader P/L 2006

Koolaid antifreeze party starting soon. All went downhill around 2pm when i started shorting a lot. Tried to pick myself up off the canvas late, but the damage was already done and my pathetic blotter was KO'd.

    The Prop Trading Industry EXPOSED

From this situation (not alone, just confirmed) i believe trading firms are a lot like trades, risk vs reward. The highest reward firms (best payout fees etc) can also be the most risky (getting paid). If you want it done right, you have to do it yourself or go with a professional thats...

What is needed to set up a pro firm?

Probably referring to the PDT rule, hence suggesting 25k/retail.

    Best Prop firm for Canadians?

Stamp tax on the LSE is high, i think that stops daytrading.

What is needed to set up a pro firm?

Why dont you just open a prop account somewhere, get leveraged (if you want) and contract out any programming you need. I dont understand what the point of what your doing is.

Hi all - Yet another newbie joining Swift Trade

3 months i would say is best case scenario. its normally 4-6 to graduate, and at least 6 to make enough to live off of. You dont need to know anything, you will learn it all while you are there, whether its form the intro provided by the BM, or your expected hours and hours of research...

    Trader P/L 2006

Decent enough start to the month. Was good action right near the open then nothing during the mid day. After 2pm i made a bit more. The new arca fees piss me off, my liquidity was double today which blows, although i noticed no difference so far in fill speed. Need to try to be more...

    Trader P/L 2006

I think im finding what madmunny articulated well in another thread: You gotta risk it to make it. Finished the month with no red days, but really limped into the end of the month with very slow crappy days like today. Also, danjos, you have got to be the most under the radar incredible...

    Trader P/L 2006

So im sucking ass all day, finally get to 950 net, and then waste $200 on a costly reminder of why i dont screw around in retarded shit like FMDAY ( i know i deserve to be ridiculed) and then another small loss makes me 300 or so LFT. Also, maybe i shouldnt post about other retarded shit on ET...

CNBC Anchors, How much do they make?

I admit living in a cheap area i forget what exactly 6 figures means to some people. Whats good salary in NYC, 200k? Thinks its that cushy, or just a "working professional salary", like 100k or something.
