there's almost always one down bar good for 3-10 ticks before the trend resumes (if it resumes at all).
And vice versa.
Interesting.
Is that cuz all the noobs are watching MACD or something and go "omg it crossed over, buy!" and the MMs are messing with them?
Or is there something...
I've noticed that a lot of strong trends continue after resuming at their previous LL/HH.
That being said...
Maybe I need to use a faster FastMA so it changes slope faster and I enter sooner (altho that would also give more false signals).
Makes sense.
I can't take part of a...
I like 6J, too.
At $6.25 per tick it's almost the same as YM.
Well, almost $6.25 per tick. Sometimes it goes up a tick and then back down to my entry price and OEC says I'm $0.01 in profit
Oh and what am I supposed to be looking for on DOM. The difference between buy and sell orders? The distance between current price and sell orders vs. the distance between current price and buy orders?
Cuz seriously it all looks random to me.
Also what does it mean when there's a black...
Does DOM show ALL open orders? IT seems like there's only 5 or 6 above/below the current price, and then there are crazy outliers with like "1" just sitting way above and below the current price. Am I correct in assuming there is nothing in between these values?
So I've been watching price...

Incorrect. I let the market stop me out (fast slope changing) because that...

I was just using the close price of each bar.
That wouldn't be too hard to add.
That's what I'm not entirely sure how to do. I'm using SierraChart's worksheet functionality because I don't know C++ so I'm not able to write actual code per se. I...

If it was me I just would've said it was me. It would've taken less energy to type "I" than to type "a family member." And since I'm "looking for handouts" it stands to reason that I'm also lazy, and I'd rather type one letter than a few words.
Here it is on 15 min charts.
Note that the trading day is the small area between the dotted yellow line (8:30am CST) and the dotted blue line (3pm CST).
Not sure if this is correct tho. I think it might not be...
