That's what gave me the idea to suggest the screensharing conference. I mean people are already offering to help demo/teach this method live... why not do so online? It's easier than having to go meet somebody (and safer, too). I think there would be a lot of interest. I know I would join in.

To get the naysayers to believe it works. Plus, it would be a great learning experience, I think. Noobs could ask questions and the more experienced people could answer.
