Hahaha! I have 2 teenagers and it's waaaaaaaaay more stressful and draining than when they were toddlers.
I'm looking forward to being an empty nester in a few years. Then I can *really* think about trading full time!
Trojans are generally not planted by simply surfing. Usually someone sends you an e-mail with an attachment containing an executable - the trojan program. If you're not a savvy computer user, you may blindly click on the attachment and bingo, it executes and you're infected.
Now, *if* you...
I'll happily log in using the card on my little accounts.
Since I have 2 accounts, one an IRA and the other a "normal" margin account, this may push me to open a friends and family account to manage them together. i.e. 1 login using the card instead of 2.
I remember when my hair was like that back in the 70's.
I also remember the tech bubble crash in 2000. That's when I started trading my own money so I could go to cash whenever I wanted without having some financial advisor telling me to "stay the course" or some-such BS. I swore to myself...
In the US the federal gasoline tax has been frozen for the last 14 year. Couple this with record highs in pump prices and aging roads, something's gotta give.
I was a young enginerd back in the fall of 1987 and received my first cold call from a broker. Bought a couple of stocks he recommended that were positively dreadful to begin with. Not that I knew any better. Then the market crashed and I lost thousands. Yikes.
Besides the obvious...
I dunno. The BPNDX (bullish percentage on the NDX) is up around 75% and hanging in there. This mean a high level of component participation in the Naz 100 uptrend.
If price were pushing up with the BPNDX falling, I'd start to worry.
I agree with the comment earlier about switching to gmail.
I realize that the original poster has made his mind up about using an e-mail client program. That's fine. I've been trying to talk my wife into not using a client (she uses outlook express) and just going web-based to no avail...
Interesting that Canada ranks next to last, just ahead of the US. I've read about wealthy Canadians coming to the US and paying out of pocket for MRIs because of a 6 month waiting list for a Canadian one.
A fellow on another message board said that every month 500 - 800 M NOK are sold for the national pension fund. Very interesting if true. I can't believe they'd tip their hand like that.
Person A gets to sit on the stoop of his single-wide, drinking beer and shootin' the sh1t with his buds. He'll never be rich but at least he doesn't have much stress or worry in his life either.
