    Title Trading

    Actually the order fragmentation makes things quite a lot fun. Since you have to deal constantly with getting rid of lots stock when you have a huge spread and no size... that can teach you a couple of things about cutting your losses that you wont really learn while trading GE getting out at...

    Outsourcing, migrations, and the wall in the south

    I've been wondering. The point of regulating migrations to a given country, is to keep people from certain other countries from having access to the more competitive wages that are paid in that country. Ok, and the point of outsourcing is that companies want to do their production outside...

    the best leading indicator for XOM is the NYMEX oil futures... since you probably wont be getting NYMEX any time soon at swift, then XLE would be my second choice. or you could get the squawk from the oil pit... but it´s pricy... {around $500 per month}

    what I meant is. If you place one order on each side, like credit traders tend to do. place your first order on the side that has the longest line, and your second order a few minutes later on the other side, so that both orders can reach the market around the same time. It´s a lot easier to do...

    Using real names on message boards

    If you play online poker {perhaps at DBPN} you´ll be asked to submit scan images of your credit card, id and license, along with an agreement letter properlly signed. All that information is going to be kept "securely" in a file to which all the office has access, there´s plenty of...

    Well, I´ve traded SUNW and XOM before. On SUNW what you want to look for in that stock is the range of movement and how much is the tape printing in each direction. Once you got an idea of that, see how long the line is on each side {bid/ask} and place your order first on the side that would...

    Adapting to the Hybrid

    Watch out for those Amex specialists... far worse than NYSE... As for the hybrid market, I love what it does to thin stocks, now you don't send your order to pick up liquidity offered in NYSE just to watch em pull the liquidity away from you without a print...
