when you hit stagflation what you have is a scenario where capital goods [houses, cars, etc] are losing price quickly... the currency is loosing price quickly and consumer goods are losing price not so quickly, so in the perspective of one who earns in dollars they seem to be rising in price...

try stuff that doesn't move too much... with a low price tag [so the SEC fees wont kill you] and plenty of liquidity... LU used to be a paradise for credits... :(

as long as you don't have any standing bids at the price at which you're selling... then it'll be hard to do any wash selling... no matter how often you trade.

Good point the don't need to see your actual stops, they don't care; in order to know they're there... it just takes is price discovery below support/above resistance for all the stops to kick in...
