what should I look at to earn 3K in a month?

Prop traders aren't restricted by the PDT rule. He could trade all he wants, providing he found a firm which would take him with only 6k.

According to a PM from some TurboTT clown, God has deemed me unworthy

I figured I was one of many, but I didn't even think of that. And come to think of it, keeping someone from sending a PM because they have 0 posts probably isn't a good idea. I was new once too. But I had no idea I was so evil. Oh well. Hopefully they have beer and sports in hell...

According to a PM from some TurboTT clown, God has deemed me unworthy

This was left in my PM box overnight. Mods, maybe I'm missing something, but there seems to be something inherently wrong with crap like this being distributed by someone with 0 posts. TurboTT Registered: Mar 2011 Posts: 0 Ancient Tablet 10 000 years old talks of God's outcome in...

Yeah, we get it. Are you long implied volatility in a major way, or are you auditioning for the Drudge Report?

Shit!Japan gives up! pulls ALL workers from plant, no one there now.

Exactly. And they realize there is a possibility they have freaked out over an event which isn't nearly as bad as they'd hoped. There is no way they will ever say "Oops. Nevermind." They need to play it out.

    Is this really happening?

It looks like they halted the futures? The nikkei index is only down 600 or so. I don't normally watch the Japanese markets, but that seems a bit out of whack.

    Sterling Trader Pro Tutorial

I have no idea about a video. This manual was hard enough to find: http://sterlingtrader.com/documents/Sterling_Trader_Pro_User_Guide.pdf I would just download the demo and play with it. It's a good starting point anyway.

    why do i keep losing?

But you want to bet a 15 lot when it touches the lower regression line after the market's gone up day after day after day? Ballsy, and scary, but it's the right thing to do.

    why do i keep losing?

BTW, OP, have you seen this? Expected return = (Probability of a win x Average magnitude of win) - (Probability of a loss - Average magnitude of a loss) Under estimate the former, over estimate the latter, allow for outliers, do this in your head every minute of every trading day, and then...

    why do i keep losing?

Years ago, I would have said you're full of psycho mumbo jumbo. But after having been on this damn roller coaster for so many years, the correlations between trading and the rest of one's life are amazing to me.

Why isn't Wall Street in jail?

Ya mean like writing a naked option? Yes. Bad idea. EDIT: I meant selling the policy is comparable to selling an option. But you knew that.

Why isn't Wall Street in jail?

Are you saying each individual mortgage had a separate cdo attached to it? I guess I was under the impression that each cdo represented a bulk of mortgages, with a risk rating which represented that particular batch of paper. Bad assumption? You got me curious.
