Mostly swing (or at least overnight) with a few intraday trades here and there. Trade futures and ETFs (mostly S&P, NDX100, Russell2000, Gold, Silver, Oil, Natural Gas and bitcoin / ethereum, but also will look at stuff like XLE, MJ and a few other sectors and stocks). How about you?

Having somewhat similar styles is key. Otherwise, it just becomes a lot of noise. When the styles are similar, it can be more of a collaborative approach. I have a trading room on EchoFin and initially, like Remote, I was trying to get some traders in there but now it's really just me and 1...

There is some truth here. Maybe the better question to ask is why is your trading causing you stress? Often, the lack of a defined process / plan is what leads to stress.

Not much of a price surge for GME, relatively speaking.

I still have no idea why people keep thinking it's better to trade the 1-minute charts. There is so much noise there. Learn to determine daily direction and the higher time frames. They are much more forgiving if you get the primary trend correct. Use the micros to adjust position size.

I'm interested to know if the hedge funds got long GME on Thursday while the retail guys were shut out -- and then when the retail guys were allowed to buy on Friday the hedge funds cashed in.

Sounds interesting. I do a lot of cycle and other big picture analysis on nasdaq as well.

The reality is that "fundamental" conditions still are generally good for the stock market. While I had weekly sell signals on both S&P and NDX100 at end of last week (suggesting a lower close this week), Russell 2000 did not have such a signal. You really have to pick your spots for shorting...

I got out of SPXU at close yesterday and went into TQQQ which I sold early today. Going back into SPXU at close.

We have a similar view as to the long-term risks. For now, there is demand which is out-stripping supply and it currently provides an alternative place for some folks to park cash.

I have long positions in bitcoin and ethereum but this is a valid concern for its long term viability. bitcoin is not government-friendly so the idea that governments will get on board is very misguided in my view. Further, the banks are getting cut out of a lot of this so they would rather...
