    Trader P/L 2011

Realized right away after my first trade, this was a crappy low volume, low range day. Russell day range was 6-7 points. Dow was like 70 points.

Nice videos on trading - FLOORED

Site looks sketchy. It's obviously a pirate site. They are streaming Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol which just opened in theater. Plus they want you to install some piece of software to watch the movies. Right there, that's a big red alert.

    TF trading/scalping journal

I believe in the same philosophy. KISS, keep it simple stupid. It really doesn't get any simpler than when a MACD line crosses the zero line. Just now, the MACD cross the zero line at 12pm EST on the 2 min chart. It was worth at least 3 points and is still active. I decided to get out.

    TF trading/scalping journal

I would suggest reading trader28's HOF thread. The MACD/zeroline crossover is a good system which is something I use. Very well suited to trading the Russell futures. Look for a minimum 1:2 risk/reward. Very doable.

Nice videos on trading - FLOORED

While watching the video, I came across another one on Youtube. It's a trailer documentary called, The Pit. It's about the transition that some coffee pit traders had to make when ICE took over NYBOT in 2006. A lot of them were forced out of the business. The full video is on Netflix. I...

Thanks I'm gonna give the 3x single mounts a shot. They seem to have 3 different versions of the single mounts with extended, swiveling arms 5402($22), 6421($24), 7562($39). All have very good reviews and similar specs. Don't know if 7562 is that much better the 5402. I know I'm...

Thanks Dude! That's beautiful. Now that you have it setup, do you think it would have been better to done 3 of the single mounts (7562/7563) instead of one dual (7564) and one single (assuming 7562/63).

I saw the video that they have. Looks great and damn bargain at $61. I was pricing ergotrons a while back and they were much more expensive. Wish they had a triple LCD mount. The quad mount would require that I remove my top shelf or my middle shelf, but even then it's doesn't have...

monoprice has some great prices for LCD mounts. Always thought the desk didn't have enough space to accommodate a LCD stand. Do you have a specific link?

Who the heck knows. Why did they name the successor Fredrick? Always thought Swedes/Ikea people had a funky way of doing/naming things. Google Ikea Jerker. Apparently it was well loved and some people have put up pages memorializing it.

I think I have a pretty awesome setup. It's efficient, stylish and cheap. :D - IKEA workstation desk, used to be called Jerker, now Fredrick. New one, not as functional. With all accessories, like $200-$250. - Desk has 2 CPU holders on the sides. Left one is custom built, main computer...

Don't think there are too many choices for options. Besides MB Trading, Tradestation has been around a long time. If you trade with them, you get the platform free which is pretty nice.

Inside the Trading Empire of Bright Trading

Ferguson and Howard Lederer are crooks. They had the golden goose and f*cked it up. They should get locked up. They couldn't just be happy making an easy several million a year. They had to treat Full Tilt like their own piggy bank. If they had managed their business like PokerStars, at...

Inside the Trading Empire of Bright Trading

Geez, i thought the standard procedure for these $100k or more buy-ins, was to get several people to take a piece of you ala "The Corporation" back a few years ago when Doyle, Phil Ivey and Co. took on Andy Beal. Fronting the entire million? That's some big balls. :D I doubt any of the...
