As long as they clearly identified the source of their income, I have no problem with them writing puts. It's when they give the impression that their great earnings are solely based on their product line that causes problem.
A number of companies were branching out to credit card a few...
I agree. I believe that you are a better trader for understanding the daily ranges especially for the indices.
One thing I will add, there is so much premarket action nowadays whether in Asia or Europe, that it's quite common for the US markets to open off the prior day's close. I think...
What are you hoping to accomplish? Reversion to yesterday's close?
As you can see by today's action, futures trended lower pre-market and continued lower so it was a good indicator of the general movement for the day. Other days, it might not be the case.
Practically speaking, the low...
Nice analysis. Wasn't 2 points but day isn't done yet. Huge volume, 3m, to push down past 30.
At 38, it was 100 billion company, not sure it's worth 50 billion, I would stay away until teens.
There is an updated version of the case with better power PSU.

This guy went for performance and built a gaming rig. Using mobo's...
Not at all. My current build is pretty quiet. Bought a decent CPU fan with alum/copper connects. Decent midrange GPU.
Both of those things can go into a standard miniATX board.
We are taking moderate performance here, not OCing so don't need all that extra cooling.
There are 2 categories of smaller motherboards than standard ATX boards, microATX and miniATX. More selection of microATX which tend to be slightly bigger than miniATX. But miniATX do accommodate a decent GPU card.
This case comes with a nice 80Plus rated PSU. If you decide to splurge...
Here's a different perspective. Build your own mini-cube PC. I think that what I'm gonna do with my next computer. I built my current PC with a very nice minitower Lancool case. Components were selected for excellent value/performance ratio. But at the end of the day, only thing I...
Corzine lost more than just money. His legacy was tarnished beyond repair. Maybe not as bad as Madoff but as bad as it gets.
Before he came to MF Global, his rep was pretty impeccable, legendary even.
Read it in the papers but decided to post it here now since I thought the reference was appropriate. I'm sure there are some who didn't read it.
Btw, if the link is restricted, you can google "hale white trader fb". Google link seems to be full article.
One trader got lucky that his order didn't get executed. Another one, not so lucky.
His pals weren't so lucky.
"I'm kind of done," Mr. Hale said. After talking to the firm's risk manager, he sold out of his position near the day's low. So did other guys around him. They couldn't risk...
Not a good portrait of Corzine. Makes him out to be a gambler.
A 60ish dude having a midlife crisis and trying to prove how great he is by going for the fences with a smaller firm.
Good trade. If you were looking for a breakout signal, once ES cleared 1313.75, the previous lower high, might have been a good entry as well. There was volume building at the time.
Well this was clearly a case where the bulls wanted it more than the bears.
While the technical pattern yielded some (depending on where you shorted) gains after the triple top, the extreme oversold conditions were a buying opportunity. I had an inkling that big afternoon spike move might...
