Thanks for the advice. I switched to Dec and it worked fine. But the strange thing was the for the longest time I tried selecting the Dec contract and it wouldn't let me. So I stick with the continuous. Then later IB allowed me to click through and select the Dec contract. All these weird issues.

I've actually made money trading GC last night. It was scary as hell but ended up being up. Also surprisingly made money in NQ as well today! I used to consistently lose money on NQ no matter what long or short. Now only if IB quotes don't die on me in the overnight session. Just rebooted.

I've made money trading equities. I bought GOOG at the lows yesterday. Then I put in a limit order to sell today and it was filled pre-market. At 1am PST? This means pre-market trading starts at 4am EST??? I didn't know that.

So far, the only futures that I'm net positive in 2019 is NG. It can be super volatile too. It's the summers so it's slower and easier to trade. Also, it moves in ways that I can capture. NQ is ridiculous. So is GC.

I've been trading afterhours with IB. The charts is all messed up with bad ticks everywhere. I can't even do my normal chart pattern detections since there are these super long wicks everywhere. wtf. are you guys experiencing this?

I'm not a good trend trader. Or one at all. So sad. Missed out on great moves. :( I thought I've come far in my trader development. Now I'm not so sure anymore. *heartbroken*

This time I ended up making money on the futures. Loss a few hundred bucks on the options. Not bad overall. But I missed out on over $15K of potential profits. But seriously I don't know if I had held through everything. At least a lot more than basically flat.
