Trump Tax Reform - a total squeeze on middle class W2 workers

Where then will the 1 trillion deficit increase come from? I guess from the fact that on average a taxpayer will pay less in taxes. The reform is a trade off, which in the end seems to be beneficial to taxpayers. Why is the disgrace?

Tax Bills Doom Tax-Free 1031 Exchanges Of Cryptocurrency

Can you swap one asset for another w/o cashing it out? If the answer is mostly negative, then Section 1031 makes more sense. B/C with cryptocurrency it's easier to do & the Section 1031 does not make much sense here.

How would you like it to be? (BTW: The plan would cap the portion of a mortgage on which people can deduct their interest at $500,000, down from the current level of $1 million.)

Trump Tax Reform - a total squeeze on middle class W2 workers

This does not sound good. But, on the other hand, eliminating estate tax is a good thing. But I don't believe either of them is relevant for the W2 middle class workers.

LOL! How do you call people who support tax increase & hate the tax cuts? And what about people who are all for the FTT?
  16. G

Trump Tax Reform - a total squeeze on middle class W2 workers

And you still hate tax cuts for entrepreneurs & businesses. Irrelevant. There are many people on this board who love to benefit from the free markets but hate capitalism in general. The question still remains: What's in the tax reform that you don't like & why the old tax code is better?

Well, it's not about me. It's about your inability to formulate an issue clearly & unemotionally. Like all fervent socialists, you are not up for a rational debate.

Please don't send me to read the entire thread ( possibly the web after that? ) to get into your mind & your personal worries. Just state your complaints clearly & pithy for me. Otherwise we have no bullet points to discuss.

Have you done the estimate of your tax return under new rules? What is your personal complaint? I would love to hear the same from the OP as well. How exactly will it affect his taxes in a negative way? I know I'll pay less in taxes in the long run.
