    Why are you so fascinated with option writing? Are you looking to use it for income or for growth?

    Options writing with the random entry points is good for the income but not for the capital growth. Eventually it will deplete your principal because the income comes out of it. In the bullish market you can achieve much better results with the long calls.

    You are obligated in indirect way since your calls are cheaper than if the stock didn't pay dividends. So your potential profits are smaller by this amount.

    Judging by description of the problem my guess is that internet connection ( or firewall software ) causes the spikes of CPU once he opens a browser window.
