No. Check at 8:30. It went up after the news! It is non sense for it to go up. It went down after dumb money was cleaned. Fundamentally it should have go down, instead it went up. I am expecting other dumb money at around 1.52, who might buy it because books say "buy support".

I think it is you who is missing the point. Given your STD, I could just leverage the SPY (1.4) to get same STD as yours, BUT the return would be 1.4 performance of SPY. 1.4 SPY was around 45% this year. The results should be normalized. It is the ratio of return divided by STD that matters...

I do not think it is about making money, but about trust. Even if you were to show people that you could multiple capital by 10 each year, I doubt people would give their money to be managed except to banks and mutual fund companies that spend money to get people to trust them. I believe...
