End of Summer Campaign. Trade at 0.002 per share! No Minimums

What would you answer is someone stated something like :"If the principals were good they would not turn to second-tier brokerage-like commission-based businesses".

End of Summer Campaign. Trade at 0.002 per share! No Minimums

You did not answer the question of minimum capital someone asked. Why do you pick and choose the questions you answer? Do you open accounts under business entity (LLCs/trusts/etc)? Do you keep account segregated? If not what is the probability that the company goes bankrupt, and what is...

Weekly Poll: Don't Short A Dull Market?

I would rather look at: M0, M1, (M2-M1), and M3. M1 for spending, M2-M1 for investment in liquid assets, and M3 for inflation/deflation. M0 is for capitalization analysis.

MoreYummy: I was not planning on sharing the answers in public, but since you asked I am going to make an exception and share information related to the first question, which I believe I discussed where else in this forum, and therefore nothing major is lost. Those who say that the delta...

What led you to raise the question?

Glad to meet you Michael, and to hear that you decided to take things in your own hand. Canadians are wonderful people, and in my view, Canada is of one of the best countries (if not the best country) in the world. The liberal Canadian government under Jean Chretien seems to have done a great...

    2040 China, a 123 trillion dollar economy?!?!?!

    1. In their mind it is Jian Tao who will make them the best. They still think like serfs of a dictator, even if the dictator is probably not there anymore. 2. Immigrants to America is one of its greatest assets.

    2040 China, a 123 trillion dollar economy?!?!?!

That is the only thing you wrote that is correct (if you remove the word only). In America people make dreams reality. Not all dreams become reality. The majority of dreams fail, but the few that succeed create big things. America is similar to biological systems. If you take sperm for...

    2040 China, a 123 trillion dollar economy?!?!?!

No one can match the US in thinking for another century.

Stanford: 1. I think you are right in your comparison of NDX and OEX. I had noticed it in one of Falconview's posts but I forgot to mention it. 2. Is your name Miguel or Michael? I am guessing that when an American ends in a spanish speaking world, he "becomes spanish by name". 3. From...

That sounds good. In relation to what is next, I would also consider working on strangles first because they are immediate cousins of straddles (a straddle is just a particular case of strangles). Overtime you would also realize that most/all technical indicators say/sing the same story-- what...

Do you support a Mosque at Ground Zero?

Related article from NY Times: WASHINGTON — President Obama delivered a strong defense on Friday night of a proposed Muslim community center and mosque near ground zero in Manhattan, using a White House dinner celebrating Ramadan to proclaim that “as a citizen, and as president, I...

Falconview: 1. Let me give an anology. Imagine an car insurance company. The best situation for a car company is that they sell insurances to all cars at a given moment, and one second later all the cars are not driven at all end expiration plus one second. Think about it again. The...

Weekly Poll: Don't Short A Dull Market?

I noticed that in the QQQQ we have 4 consecutive gaps, and none of them is filled. Last week, we have also gaps. It is a gappy market. It is a very dangerous market in search for a direction, but I expect it to stay up to flat next week.

Who are the idiots buying bonds for 1% interest?

What are you talking about? The money does not comes from the Fed. It comes from the US Government (Treasury), which is ultimately the tax payers. The Fed does not pay interest, it receives interest.

Who are the idiots buying bonds for 1% interest?

I think your first sentence is correct, but in your second sentence your thinking seems to be mixed up. Read my previous post.

Who are the idiots buying bonds for 1% interest?

Yes, they can be true, because in a deflation people save more than they borrow. To resist the fall in GDP, the banking system needs a borrower of last resort, and the US is a borrower of last resort. The US will become more credit-worthy not because of budget/etc but because it is needed by the...

Who are the idiots buying bonds for 1% interest?

You understand something, but your last sentence can be misleading or reflects a lack of full understanding. The gain is still coming from the yield, because it results from a CHANGE in the yield. Where did you go to school?
