Only amateurs care about the percentage of winning trades :D The most important metric is the average profit per trade (win or lose), you should know that by now.

Oh you are trading with the daily charts. I tried once but could not make it, I simply cannot wait days or weeks for a trading setup, I need daily action, something to trade now. That's the trading style I am comfortable with.

Who cares? :confused: I am still making money and certainly don't give a damn about volatility or volume. There are plenty of opportunities every day in the market, just find them and trade them.

Sure, but I highly doubt it. Most probable scenario in my opinion : after the report the AUD/CAD will make a huge, get-out-of-the-way move to the upside and never look back! Let's wait and see, unless I get a BUY signal in the meantime... :cool:

Ever heard of the word average? And I did not say 75 pip profit per day but per winning trade, on average!! On some day-trades I pocket 250 pips or more easy, on some others only 40 pips. That's just an average, corroborated by almost 15 years of historical (and live) data,

Absolutely. And speaking of Australian dollar, AUD/CAD has now formed a triple-bottom formation (15min chart), or so it seems. Usually this type of formation is pretty hard to break during the Asian session. I do not trade that way but it's just something to keep in mind...

While I am waiting for another trading setup to develop here are a few comments about Forex day-trades (and day-trading in general). I have noticed over and over that when the daily range of a particular currency pair (or market) is small, like today (15 pip range on the EUR/USD, come on!)...

Well if you can turn $10,000 into $100,000 after 6 months, then after a year your initial $10,000 becomes $1,000,000, if you re-invest the whole thing and obtain the same kind of return. That's a $990.000 profit, right?

I am the one who asked the moderator to intervene (and I thank him for his prompt action), this thread is about turning $10.000 to $100.000 in 6 months in the futures market and nothing else.

Come on guys, give the man a break, he just wants to challenge himself and see if he can turn $10.000 into $100.000 in 6 months or sooner in the futures market, something wrong with that? :confused:
