"Saw" as in saw it in the charts PRIOR TO the big drop, so you could make money off the move. Of course once the big drop happens you can "see" it on the charts.

That sounds exactly right to me.

Because if the inflation numbers hadn't come in bad it would not have happened. I.E. today's drop is a result of unexpected inflation news, not become of some prior price action that shows up on a chart with squigglies on it.

I'm calling it. Again. The last two days the Fed has made anti-inflation, fighting it until the end, don't care how high interest rates have to go, etc. type comments, and the markets took it with ease, completely unlike prior sessions where the market would tank anytime the Fed said anything...

I'm not quite following. Those look like charts of crude oil and Treasuries. Are you just using those as a proxy for inflation? I think more inflation is coming too, but not so sure how what you posted necessarily says its coming.

Thanks everyone, will refocus on this tonight. I find this interesting, however. Today the market is down big. I go to finviz.com, run their screener, and select the beta less than 0 screener option. So, this should mean, since the market is down big, the ones it screens far are up. But...
