Crackdown on Wall Street: The Perp Walks Are Coming

Thought? SEC was owned by Wall Street from the start. So was Wall Street media. As for regulators, lol, what regulators?

    $419 Dell Deal

Awesome, thanks. Dell is giving out lot of free monitors, they seem desperate.

    $419 Dell Deal

My first box took me 5 hours to put together. I had to put it together 3 times, because of the mistakes I made. I also was trying to hook up 3 monitors, which messed with me for a while. Second box took under an hour. If you need to jack around with BIOS for 2 days, you must be wearing a...

    $419 Dell Deal

No, because all I have to do is turn on my computer, which performs better than anything you can get on the market right now even for $600. It cost me $350 with the finishing touches, like getting a reliable PSU just in case. Yes, I did catch a good deal. Have you ever put a PC together? No...

    Obama Declares US Wage Controls

Does not sound broken to me, more like "working as intended". I feel it's absurd, but I don't own any shares nor do I intend to own a share of any company with absurd executive compesation to those who never put any equity into the firm. I don't like being ripped off.

    Obama Declares US Wage Controls

What remedial education system did you go graduate from? Are you still riding short yellow bus? The government, aka taxpayer is footing the bill from these banks. Since that somehow makes the taxpayers the shareholders (against their will), then they have the right to decide what, if any...

    $419 Dell Deal

The free monitor is a great deal, can't deny that. I can't get the coupon to work, seems like they took it offline. Free 19" instead. I was thinking of getting it just to flip the monitor and the computer, but the 19" isn't worth that much. BTW, that Vostro has a 250w PSU, very low...

    $419 Dell Deal

There is a hobbyist aspect to it, that is true. I actually got more into it over the years because I got sick of OEMs and the limitations. You can always get custom mades as well, at least you know the exact components.

    Huge Build in Crude Inventory

Most of those who took delivery on the Feb contract are storing it with no intention of using it, just playing the calendar spread. I think by the time all deliveries finish on the Feb contract, there will be guys without storage. So they will have to dump.

    Build or Buy?

Great post. I would also get Zonealarm firewall, free or paid version. Check the power Supply from barebones kits, some are not reliable. If on budget, I would save on the Radeon X 1650, you can get a dual output for half the price, like GeForce 8400.

Hope you wrote a story on that, maybe turn it into a movie script.

    $419 Dell Deal

Yeah, it's hard to beat the service you get from Rajeev from Mumbai (pretending to be John from North Carolina). I see your point, it goes back to what I sad about Dell and whom they cater to. Once you get past that stage and learn how to rely on yourself in regards to computers, hardware &...

    Japan Is Already In Depression

No, they are not. They will just imprison them or put them on brigades. There is war brewing anyway, so the new unemployed can and will be made useful.

Well, it is 2009 not 2007. There is so much office space becoming available everyday, you would be surprised at the deals.

    $419 Dell Deal

LOL, my barebones kit with 3.0mhz dual core, and 2gb ram was less than $250. I added 1gb more ram for 15 bucks and got a GeForce 9500GT for like $80. Motherboard was good but a bit old, no PCI 2.0, although I did not need it. A free 22" monitor is hard to beat, although IBM's Lenovo was...
