    Anyone here using Testosterone Replacement?

I'm investigating TRT myself. My total testosterone numbers are ok...perhaps on the higher side of the range for my age (forties)....but my free testosterone level is right at the low end of the range. This appears to be from very high levels of SHBG. The level is almost twice the upper end of...

Legendary oil trader forced to shutter hedge fund amid low prices

Here's a question for the thoughtful.... Would you rather be a good career trader who consistently makes a living every year, say a couple of hundred thou a year for a 30 year period...or would you rather be a lucky trader who makes 100 million one year and loses a million every other year for...

Legendary oil trader forced to shutter hedge fund amid low prices

Lucky trader Hall, who earned the nickname “God” after earning $100 million in profits in 2008 thanks to perfectly timedoiltrades, doesn’t see a quick turnaround in low crude prices on the horizon. Corrected. Admittedly I would rather be a rich lucky trader than a good poor one

Tips for quitting smoking as a trader?

Just smack yourself hard in the face with your fist every time you think of lighting up. Associating huge pain with a bad habit causes your brain (which likes to avoid pain) to break the habit rather quickly.

    October Performance

Yes...but you should always trade markets/time periods that match your method/system. If you are a long term trend follower, not much point trading stuff that doesn't trend in your time frame.

    over 90% win rate

I reckon you could make a lotta money if the conditions were reversed i.e. stop loss 1 tick and either a target of 100 ticks or trailing stop. Psychologically, it would be horrible since you would be stopped so many times, but depends if you are in this game to make money or for your mental issues.

Is it ever correct to deviate from your pre-planned exit strategy?

Exit half at your pre determined exit. Bring stop loss to break even on the rest. Exit the remaining half on a trailing stop AND/OR discretionary. I had a trailing stop on my remaining short YM position today, i was watching the market, something clicked in my head and i did an discretionary...

    Fitness causing insomnia

Good point. But it depends on the dosage. You could split the dosage like CaptainObvious says e.g. some in the morning and some in the evening. I would also say that zinc, magnesium, iron, calcium should all be taken apart from each other since they compete for absorption.
