Fully agree. Then again, I kind of feel sorry about that guy if he has absolutely zero connections/confidence after trading at a professional level for a decade that would let him trade other people's money to rebuild his own capital faster with less risk.

While IB is great in general, if you're very low volume (monthly accumulation on small acc qualifies as this) then IB can be more expensive than necessary. I'll leave it to others to make alternative suggestions though.
