    KOSPI 200 futures on CME

IMO, if you want to trade KOSPI trade it on KRX. Don't trade it on CME. Also, as far as I can tell, just like the Bursa Malaysia link this requires you to have KRX access anyway - so I'm not sure what the point of it even is other than trading off hours. This is not a copycat contract that...

    Soybean Complex Ratios

So 3 years later I am running into this same problem. Anyone know what's up with CME's margin offsets for soybeans? They don't make any sense to me: What's up with these 5 and 50 numbers? That doesn't match up at all with what the normal crush ratios are? I bring this up because I was...

Bay Area tech jobs exceed dot-com boom record

You'll notice there's no distinction on h1b vs non-h1b. You'll also notice zero study on per capita wages. Bunk data and bunk article.

New research: Ban investment advice in the media

"Study says even when people know the quality of the information is low, the 'noise' of it being publicly broadcast causes investors to lend it more weight, which distorts markets" That's a people problem not a media problem. You don't ban things because people can't think for themselves, you...

    Coffee Options Trade - Adjustment

You're trying to move to unlimited profit on the downside on a commodity that's spent over a year basing itself? Maybe you'll see 128 but this doesn't seem like a trade you should embark on a long-duration campaign on.

index futures listed on both ICE and CME

Not sure if you meant ICE commodities as all their commodities, but that isn't new at all, nor is TF in a different fee structure than ICE US commodities - which it isn't. In fact, ICE fees weren't exactly cheap before, but yes, they do add up for people (including me). My point though is that...

index futures listed on both ICE and CME

Kinda interesting that traders who are irked over a 100/month fee (meaning they have small accounts) would take flight to FDAX :D. Anyway, I trade other things besides just the Russell so I'm not leaving ICEUS over that (and besides, it's best not to have 1 exchange with all the US futures...

index futures listed on both ICE and CME

During RTH it has plenty of volume. Additionally, "did well on CME" and comparing it to ER2 references a contract that was trading back in the mid-2000s - market micro-structure has changed a lot since then and if they see similarity between ER2 and TF it's because they aren't ticking it on ICE...

CBOE launches first in series of social media-based strategy benchmark indices

Can't believe they didn't go with the $FADE ticker.

index futures listed on both ICE and CME

Mini Russell will get worse when it heads to CME in my opinion. You're protected against easy cheap arb right now which is what makes TF have different action. People keep whining about data fees on ICE but I guarantee you they'll just give it all back once it's on CME.

    Why Was Marsman Stifled?

His old name was botpro and he's simply a kook. That's about it.

New to futures coming from forex, few questions...

Wifi or broadband connection isn't going to make a difference here. The feed is not dynamically deciding to drop market data updates unless buffers are being filled and I doubt this is even remotely an issue here. The primary concern is how IB coalesces their data before it's even sent out to...

New to futures coming from forex, few questions...

No need to switch. Use Sierrachart, the SC exchange data option, and the number bars study for starters. Personally I'm not a tick scalper but I do know the above is quite capable and the data (which I use) is unfiltered.

    Does my DOM suck?

The TOS DOM, while basic, is a DOM like most others. It's not limiting the depth as far as I know and those products you talk about with 20+ levels on each side are typically more on European exchanges that TDA doesn't offer access to.

    QTrader

I don't use it (yet) but from all the past research I've done the answer to both your questions is a yes.

    IB leveraged forex, uh what?

You don't want to be trading e-micro's IMO.

    IB leveraged forex, uh what?

I already trade FX futures. I was talking about the non-USD crosses specifically. Those do not have usable liquidity.

    IB leveraged forex, uh what?

Yeah all those FX cross spreads on CME with pretty much zero liquidity (yes I know you can somewhat construct your own - but it isn't the same).

    IB leveraged forex, uh what?

Seems related to this: https://www.sec.gov/rules/final/2013/34-69964.pdf http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=592372 Thank the wonderful SEC for this - and if you think "fuck it I don't care, I'll just trade futures" don't think those are immune either. The regulators just simply don't...

    IB leveraged forex, uh what?

Am I reading this right? You have to have 5-10 million now to trade forex at IB?
