If you ask about CCI, then yes it does. The reason why I use at all is to smoth price action. Just looking at candles can be a bit confusing.

I had flat last several days pf hsi trading, so after having a great 1 st hour yestarday, I dicided to call it a day and went to bed. When I saw what happenned after 11 I wanted to scream, serves me right though, should have stayed for the whole session.

Of course, and it varies for each market. I only take a trade when all 4 align. I learned a lot from people like Jack, spyder and several others.

I use price, one indicator (CCI), t&s and Dom. So much can be done with just these 4 tools.

I am not sure anouy russell, but ib datafeed on hang seng is extremly accurate anf fast. I used yo have esignal, and they would lag for about 1/2 to 1 second comared to ib.

Floor days are numbered. No other way around it. Look at Eurex, they seem to be fine without floor. I remember once when all of a sudden Eurex went down. It reopenned in 1 or so hours, trading continued as it never happenned. Everyone who used to trade in pit, says that pits look like ghost...

This is not the major issue. The major issue that CFTC does lot allow US residents to trade KOSPI. I have no clue why that is, KOSPI has ben pending approval since 2002-2003. I called CFTC and they said that they can not provide any details. It a shame, cause it looks like the best Asian...

The problem is in definition of this thread. The more proper name should have been “1 or more ES points on average per day”. Is it doable? Absolutely, but very hard. I would say only top 1 percent can do it consistently and as a result gradually increase their size to 100+ cars...

Yes to both. One of my rules trading hsi is that if spread is bigger than 3 ticks I skip the trade even if my signal appears.

I chose to trade HSI because SGXNK had too many days where it had no good moves intraday. HSI is diffcult to trade intraday due to the fact that decisions need to be made very quickly within 1-2 seconds. Even DAX, which is one of the fastest index futures, does not not move even close to HSI...
