Can someone give me some dividend paying quality stocks with growth potential?

These are usually not high flyers...Under the radar types. They usually have low betas. A low beta value typically means that the stock is considered less risky, but will likely offer low returns as well. The higher the beta value, the more risk you take as an investor, but the higher your...

You can no longer trade JO...Coffee

Hey there...I tried to trade JO and Fidelity wouldn't allow it. The company (Bloomberg iPath) will allow it to be sold, but no more buying. I use to trade this one a lot...If I had extra cash in an IRA, I'd buy 100 shares, then do a covered call. Just wondering if there is other ETFs that...

Tech graveyard...Who picks though the bones to find value??

Yes, I think we all know we are not close to that situation. If there is ANY value, the company will be found out and bid up accordingly. The question still remains...Which large companies (with cash), will picks though the massive bone pile when it comes?? Not putting down any program or...

Tech graveyard...Who picks though the bones to find value??

I'm an old investor...I've been though a lot; 1980-81 interest rate killer, 1987 market crash, the 2001 tech bubble (Pets.com), and 2008. During those days, you had companies (flush with cash) that could pick off the best companies that had great concepts (products), but were dying on the vine...

Can sharing a profitable strategy stop it from working.

I think it does the opposite for Warren Buffet. When he adds to a position, people sit up and take notice...Pension funds may buy or add to what he is buying (Apple, OXY).

It seems like this is used mostly with the wealthy...People with millions of dollars, pension funds, mutual funds, hedge funds, wealth management services. I know brokers lend stock, but I don't know to what extent they lend to other brokers. Do I have the general concept correct?
