You dismissed two extremely important matters in trading by price and that is support and resistance. When it comes down to it, if you can spot those points on a chart, you can make low-risk bets regardless of whether you're using candlesticks or whatever.

Lost because I stopped taking most of my trades. Every trade I took was a winner but my problem was that the more I won, I began chickening out of the next trade.

Well, there are ways to ANTICIPATE where prices are LIKELY headed using T/A but predicting? Nah. I find that I'm also highly accurate in calling price targets in my method but I'm a short-term swing trader. Trying to predict where prices will be for the year is a fool's game, IMO. By the way...

Well, the August lows were penetrated today but closed well above that area. The action of the past few days suggests that we may be in for a sharp bounce.
