    Is IRS trader status permanent?

ok, I stand corrected. Thanks. Now about earned income, as I understand it you need an entity to turn cap gains into earned income but TTS is not necessary or would be redundant. Yes?

    Is IRS trader status permanent?

no, you choose how to file every year. Trader status is just a filing choice. All it does is allow you to write off expenses, nothing more and a home office is a red flag. If you travel to seminars about trading that would be a reason to file as trader.

Want to see how America is changing? Property taxes hold the answer

I know, It's the oldest form of tax talked about in the Bible. I think it's more of a guiding principle rather than a literal law. Notice that it is flat. Giving to God/government could be interpreted as giving use of. If you're going to go income tax make it as progressive as possible with...

    Variables for scalpers

Spread and size, almost everybody is a scalper when you get down to those last few ticks before fill. The only thing you have total and complete control over is your entry. So, enter at the best price possible. And as soon as you enter, start looking for a better price. Learn from a jewish...

Want to see how America is changing? Property taxes hold the answer

A straight wealth tax would be the best of all. Nobody can ever tell me what the rate would be though and pretty gritty when you get down to the details. 1% of total net worth? 10%? 18.9%? per year, maybe 10 years to pay, so in 2026 you would finally pay off 2016 liability. Because some of that...

How does the S&P futures contract follow the top 500 companies?

ok, the cash is the cash, it can only be one price based on a computation and the current price of all the stocks in the index combined, no doubt about it that's the price. If a large fund or every small investor sell their stock the price of the index must go down. The futures however can...

Want to see how America is changing? Property taxes hold the answer

Property taxes are sometimes in lieu of sales or income tax. Total tax burden tells a more complete story. I like property taxes over sales tax because you are taxing the guy that actually has something as opposed to the guy that just needs something. Probably prefer income to property because...

Sen. Rand Paul Opposes Trump Airstrikes in Syria: ‘The United States Was Not Attacked’

Why waste time on a republican, just go whole hog libertarian. Trump is paving the way for the third party. I would bet close to 50% of college students would consider themselves libertarian if they knew what a libertarian was. But I like the airstrike, nip it in the bud, just don't leave a...

Sen. Rand Paul Opposes Trump Airstrikes in Syria: ‘The United States Was Not Attacked’

Pursuit of purity is a worthwhile endeavor in that it is easier to clean up a somewhat pure concoction than one that has every pragmatic solution dumped in it.

Trump: We've had 'one of the most successful 13 weeks' in history

So he lied? He said 13 and it's only been 11? Kudos to the fact checker.

Sen. Rand Paul Opposes Trump Airstrikes in Syria: ‘The United States Was Not Attacked’

It is not wise to be critical of the president in a time of war. Loose lips sink ships. Once CNN gets their transition team in place it is best to follow their lead and not introduce alternative facts. They have an 8 year tradition of working with the president and I'm just going on their facts.

Paul is the leader of the alt right. They never want to do anything which might make Putin mad.

    My trading strategy

Yeah, but every time I make 100% the government comes along and takes almost half of it and it messes up my compounding. Now I have to make over 10% a day just to meet my trading plan goals. Doable, but I may need to trade something other than DAX, I'll be too big for any one contract soon at...

Susan Rice’s White House Unmasking: A Watergate-style Scandal

Is it official? I didn't get the message. All threads must now be about Syria? Who ordered this? They need to be unmasked. And what does Susan Rice have to do with it? Will they be showing the video of the Syrian airstrike on 9/11? Last time it caused a big riot.

We have a new conservative supreme court justice now, so it's not like he violated anything that was living.

How does the S&P futures contract follow the top 500 companies?

More noticable in a smaller index like dj vs ym. One stupid stock can mess the whole deal up. Will they go the way of the one stock or will the one stock come back to the average. And I thought if I owned 30 stocks I would be protected from stock specific risk. Oh well, I'll try 500 and see if...

    Welcome to communist Russia

Depends on the meaning of it. Twitter is suing the US government after twitter demanded the US reveal the identity of an anti-Trump account.

How does the S&P futures contract follow the top 500 companies?

Everything corresponds to the long bond, chicken or egg, which comes first t bill or long bond? That pure gut millisecond will never be even recognized realtime by any human trader, but a computer programmed to trade like an average trader might hit it by accident.
