If you actually took the time to find out WHY the trend line broke, you’d find that it was because Huawei and 100 other manufacturers are eating Apple’s lunch in China; they are encouraging their people to “buy local,” or “buy Chinese” phones. This correction is in the history books; the...

The place to be, boys and girls :p What with W10’s dismal performance and forced upgrades, there’s another “Get a Mac” storm brewing... It’s gonna blow through 200 up to 250 or even 300. Need I remind you of what happened the last time, when Windows released Vista, and it went over like a...

Tell me if this setup is stupid

You will lose to inflation, and lose any compounded interest were you to invest it in other bonds. Of course, if you hit a long shot, this will probably make up for it.

Windows 10 - Awful Performance and UX - spin spin spin...

I was chatting about W10 with some friends at a St. Patrick’s Day party today, and we figured it out. MS is using us as guinea pigs. They gave W10 out for free, allow people to use it, collect data, and use that to work the bugs out of it.

Perhaps my greatest frustration with forced W10 updates is that they don’t allow me to get a system working and LEAVE IT ALONE. Their continual upgrades break stuff... they force me onto the bleeding edge! Forbes...

I thought about writing a simple script/long-running process to kill unwanted stuff on startup, and continue to monitor and kill stuff as Windows restarts it. (Cortana, I’m looking in your direction...)

Anyone else out there struggling mightily with W10? - Spinning dots: getting them way too much - Hard drive is constantly thrashed - Updates come frequently, randomly hanging everything - Everything is so damn slow It's very frustrating. I just can't take it anymore. I'm installing Ubuntu as...
