Both. I use wired for my main trading rig, and a laptop for smaller stuff. I have a decent router that runs fast and is reliable. Comcast cable connection, which goes out every once in a while... that pisses me off. I had to close a trade on my phone via cell tower connection once.

Make sure you get a rock-star video card that supports 4k. Really take your time and pick out a good one. You'll thank me when you get frustrated with the markets and want to play Fortnite or COD.
