The Fed Remaking the Dollar (Digital??)

Pointless. The USD is mostly digital now anyway. The whole point of crypto is ANONYMITY. It's supposed to function like ca$h... untraceable. Every penny of every USD digital-dollar transaction will be logged into a host of databases, hashed, re-hashed, analyzed, taxed, and sold.

Forget Going Back to the Office—People Are Just Quitting Instead

I think it's important to state that going back to WORK is much different than going to the OFFICE, or going back to COMMUTING. Commuting is hell. HELL! Stuffed onto trains, idling in traffic... it's horrible. I hate it so much. SO MUCH!! Working from my home office I get more exercise, eat...

How long before news is fully priced in?

Fully agree... having worked on HFT systems I know full well that I have no chance as a retail trader. It's like racing a Ferrari with a tricycle. BUT, If I can become aware of an event _before_ the HFT algos get it... if I can discern the event earlier in the flow... profit.

How long before news is fully priced in?

I've been doing a lot of research on information; specifically the flow of events to the public, and how it affects prices. When an event E occurs, it becomes known (typically by a reporter), validated, reported to an editor, released to insiders, released to news agencies, and finally released...

How long before news is fully priced in?

Anything that moves price. Perhaps "public information" or an "Event" is a better term.

    1. 2-20 years 2. The annual return percentage is the key metric. How much did you make on an annualized basis? No BS here... good documented records. 3. Minimally 1% per month, or 12% annualized. - Be prepared for a litany of risk checks. Don't think they'll tolerate you going down 30%... or...

U.S. Fed's reverse repo volume surges to record half a trillion dollars

Is this a way to test, in the short term, what happens when liquidity is removed from the system? It seems counter-productive to issue QE while at the same time soaking liquidity up with reverse repos. What I really don't understand: if a reverse repo pays 0%, why bother... why not just hold...

Why is Blackrock buying every single family house they can find, paying 20-50% above asking price?

Yes the Fed learned that lesson in the repo markets in 2019. https://ig.ft.com/repo-rate/ Perhaps this is why they're increasing reverse repos, which recently have amounted to about USD500B. Maybe this is a way to test and see what happens with short-term liquidity removal...

Why is Blackrock buying every single family house they can find, paying 20-50% above asking price?

Call me crazy, but look at the dollar index (DXY). See that nice clean 10% reduction on the dollar over the past couple years? Part of me wonders if the didn't hijack COVID to weaken the dollar by 10% It's all part of the grand plan, my friend. The next story will be an interest rate hike...

Why is Blackrock buying every single family house they can find, paying 20-50% above asking price?

I think that the inflation has already happened. Most importantly, it's all over the news for the unwashed masses--which usually means that the news is already stale. - The markets have set all kinds of new highs - Property values are up like 40% - Gold has increased from about $1400/oz to...
