How did you evaluate the fundamental price of oil and conclude that the price have bottomed? as far as I observe, there is a small bear trend on the daily chart and it is still unclear whether the weekly bear trend has finished yet.

If you become successful, you don't consider getting hired. Why share your holy grail with others? that's why high frequency firms keep their strategies behind the curtain. You badly want to get hired when you are not successful

It's just that this correction involves higher risk (because this correction often has no reversing trend ) but produces lower return. I teach that this kind of trading/investment is not optimal at Uni. So I hesitate to trade on non-dominat trend...

Yesterday, most of currency pairs as well as futures (e.g. gold, oil, even indexes) if not all, went through non-dominant trends (correction) so I did not even bother trading. I just don't know how to use contrarian strategy (market' makers correction strategy) yet.

Are you suggesting that there is some manipulation in their financial information ? something like Enron and Madoff did? or are you merely being pessimistic? there is nothing wrong with their earnings. You have compare them with past information in relative term, not in absolute dollar term...

Both fundamental info and tech analysis indicate UP ... not down, current downmove is likely to be a temporary correction. Remember that there is short selling restriction in Stock market, this up gap would not have come out unless smart money expect a bull trend
