I had -35x4 NAS100USD on. First was stopped for -46 spread. Spread for manually closed were -136*3. Ouch. However, out in total for -73 now when calculated in total. In other news, WTIUSD down and BCOUSD not trading at my provider anyway, so I think that's gonna be a 600 USD loss or similar...

    Hedging against random flash crashes

I've never had any serious risk into any of these so I can't be helpful, but it's an interesting discussion. There are basically two cases here: Flash crash with quick recovery Flash crash without recovery Frankly, I would consider the first one more difficult to deal with as I assume there...

    Universal Based Income

The answer to this question depends somewhat on the country you're polling in. Americans are trained to think in a certain way from childhood which means they have certain preferences. Of course, holding others to higher standards than oneself is a universal phenomena.

The rich in US gonna break any moment now: Apologies for somewhat ironic tone. Generally speaking, capital income is where it's at. Income tax remains a shitty incentive to work less.

Just make sure you're not one of those that simplify their thought process and analysis to political labels (with binary truth values), in this case 'socialist: true' for that proposition. It's intellectually lazy and nothing rational comes out of that. I used to take shortcuts like that when I...

Nice trends today, will be monitoring last hour and some of AH. Also a nice day for future backtesting of trendy days. Highlights how much I can still improve in my process.

I trade equities better than futures, WHY?

Most obviously, they have subtle differences in behaviors which means an edge in one doesn't carry over into the other. IMO for a discretionary trader there's no point in doing both if you already make good money in either. Just get better at what you're already good at.

Close -340. Reluctant price behavior. Too late in Also, should have added on retrace to be safer.
