Gold tank again today but curiously TSX miners aren't tanking with it. I'm seeing volume buys on some of them today not sure what to make if it but suggests there are some large players out here liking these stocks at these levels.

Long energy stocks was a fairly good play this morning; plus some ( not all ) of the Gold miners actually went up rebounding off yesterday's weakness. Huge move up in Nat Gas was interesting.

My observation is that means you were underweight your normal "inverses". So you hardly saw it coming. A gamble into a news event is not easy money otherwise you'd have $100K in SQQQ or UVXY overnight.

I think in reality most bears were not "loaded up" with inverse etfs into the actual news. Almost no one went into today confidently shorting markets hard. It was crickets on here in bear land for several days running. Don't get sucked into day trader hype there is no free lunch.

My opinion a little early we could do anything next few weeks but sometime in October / early November probably a rally starts through year end. Worst case floor to me is June lows load up the truck if it happens. Bears on here will be high fiving and shorting like crazy if we go to those levels.
