ES closed gap. NQ green ages ago. Have to leave for a bit, so locking in 3.25 points at 48 and a limit sell at 62. If I wasn't a greedy c**t I'd probably trail aggressively here and consider an exit, but I don't think this is the HOD. Might take me out on a retrace, though.

Not at my trading rig ATM, but if I recall correctly, the last few Monday's have opened weak. Will probably wait and see if we get a dip below 40 on the Open before any entries.

You're also making the assumption that volume matters. Does it? Back-test and explore further that idea. Don't believe what you're told (generally a good idea to learn on your own and question everything).

You don't need to understand why and probably you will never understand why. Instead, focus on how. How is price and the market generally moving most of the time? How can you exploit it? Where's the good entries? Where's the bad entries? For example, from a quick look at your chart it seems like...

Yes, for a retail trader it's a lonely path. Both the actual trading and associated research, but also the fact nobody in real life understands what you're going through. I think it takes a special type of person to be an independent retail trader. It's definitely not for everyone. :)
