How Would you manage this fund?

What were you trading that you could see a listed trade? Most of these trade via OTC options and structures - often against the internal desk of the bank who then divvies up the risk and sells that off to hedgefunds.

How Would you manage this fund?

yes. they are but they net debit is less than the cost of the SPX. So you give the company $100,000 to invest in the SPX with this cap and buffer, but the structure really costs like 99,200.

How Would you manage this fund?

Buy an SPX zero strike call (OTC) Sell an SPX 1y 15% call Buy a SPX 1y 100%-90% putspread The whole structure receives a credit which is the profit to the company. The trick is that the client get the price performance of the SPX but not the dividends.

    What a stupid study

By definition buy and hold is not trading. So when someone mentioned "buy and hold" they are necessarily talking about an investment activity vs a trading activity. this is one of those stupid discussions that keeps coming up on EliteTrader: comparing buy and hold investing to active trading...

MSTR -- To get out or not...

The problem I have with the call spread is that the alpha leg is MSTR. It will sell off 50percent before bitcoin rallies 100. I agree. Amassing 200k bitcoin doesn’t mean anything if your share of that costs 2x .05 bitcoin you have claim to. Having that much bitcoin doesn’t give MSTR an edge or...

Sell put itm on ETF SPY

when you account for the opportunity cost of funds. That a future only requires a tiny amount of margin and the rest of your cash can be put into the risk free rate, it’s all the same. there is no guaranteed 10-15percent/year.
