    NYC Expo

I can help with that answer, as Lightspeed Trader had to do the same. When MS stop supporting Win-XP, they stopped protecting that OS from attacks with updates. We have a regulatory responsibility that we could no longer meet with our software if it were to run on any OS that is no longer...

I suggest you contact a firm like Gainskeeper. They will upload all your activity and produce a report for your taxes. You then write a letter explaining why they are different from the 1099. http://www.gainskeeper.com/ Good luck...Bob

    Scalping

Sorry, but I disagree. The term is appropriate if your intent is to buy/sell for a quick or small profit or for the rebates. It is a description of the strategy not the entity trading. Bob

    Option math question

I don't know how to calculate the probability of the option trading at $0.50. In general, the delta can be used as an estimate of the probability of the stock being over the strike at expiration. For your example, that would be 18.63%.

    NYC Expo

The show is typically part retail presentations, part service offerings like those that offer trading signals and news and the balance are some prop firms. The...

There is nothing you can do to make that go way, unless the ES drops back down. Selling 1 call would just make you shorter. Buying a...

Looking at option volume as indicator?

How can you use OI to determine stock movement? EG. OI in a stock without active options, 100, than 5000 on the 25 call with the stock 23. How do you know if the person that initiated the trade, bought them or sold them? Would you then expect the stock to go up or down? If you have a better...
