Another thought on this point - letting winners run can be extremely painful. This may be why the Guru of one of the most painful forms of trading (trend following) started a "tribe" just for the purpose of getting people to work on themselves enough to accept the situation and follow the rules...

I figure I'm a good 2-3 years away from that point. :D

1. Look at the price 2. Note your emotions (greed, fear, indifference) 3. Do what feels WRONG - inflict the most pain in yourself possible (for me, this is buying the capitulation spike down, after it stops moving briefly) 4. Cash out when you start to feel good with the position...

Both of these have been top gainers (% per day) at some point over the past month. I keep an eye on them. :)

You are an agitator, and from what little I could stand from attempting to read your various posts, an anarchist and perhaps a communist.

Perhaps if you learned bottom up investing, you might 1. double your money for once 2. provide capital to small companies with real solutions 3. make the world a better place by lending money to productive capitalists 4. realize that not all trading is zero sum :eek:
