    Day trading is losers game

I started on building my system for day trading 4 years ago. It's been a much longer haul than I could have imagined. Perhaps not so much from the inherent difficulty as other factors. I built my system for the ES and I wish I had picked a better instrument (as Fed interventions in the...

    Everest Capital in Toronto?

You don't mention where or when you worked with "the guy" nor his name. Certainly not much of recommendation unless you are the nameless guy.

    Hey Canadians, WTF?

some people hate the world so much that anything and everything that is a balanced conservative approach to money and our planetary resources they feel they must attack. Stardust rambles about Natives and hunting and closes with the Non sequitur "just my opinion on making money in the...

Did you put on the trade on the day of your first post? Is it still on? When you say best intraday $367- was that the highest profit point of the trade versus -$2,290 the lowest profit point of the trade? Thanks

Contract differentails in Corn futures and Sept vs July

Here's the signal line earlier today and then at the close (having some prb at Brachart) The first shows the signal line coming to test a low, and the second shows it bouncing off that low. Perhaps something for day trading?

    Hey Canadians, WTF?

The numbers are all rigged. Political garbage and the population has no control over the govt - as is the case of most of western "democracies" Current govt is a sell-out to USA. Don't want us in Kytoto? - too embarrassing if you're not in? - no prb we're out Don't want us buy your...

Contract differentails in Corn futures and Sept vs July

Today I checked in on my unequal spread as a signal line for the Sept corn. When it broke 392 low support the signal line gave a sell. This happened May 3. On May 3 Sept corn was 537.50. It is now (May 10) about 515.

    MFGlobal bankruptcy claims

I posted the above just a little earlier. I am currently reading the Power of Positive thinking by Norman Vincent Peale, a little each evening just before retiring to put some positive thoughts in my mind before sleep. Currently I am on the chapter "Power to Solve Personal Problems" and he...

    MFGlobal bankruptcy claims

you are correct IMO it is not true. You need to read the fine print. More 90% of what the final settlement is. So if you are owed 10K and it is finally decided, depositors will get 77% (a laugh but for example) then 90% of 77% or $6,930 less the $7,200 you may have received already. ...

    MFGlobal bankruptcy claims

The judge said that you don't have to sign the letter to be entitled to future payouts. He is saying God-darns has no authority to not return money to people who don't sign if he returns it to people who do sign. See early post in bold (page 2 on my screen). --- As I get older I come to...

Contract differentails in Corn futures and Sept vs July

Thank-you for your posts. The above chart was only for fun. I did have equal ratios and then wanted to try the effect of unequal. As I am new to corn I would not try to trade the above. I was impressed by the depth of experience and knowledge that Stoic showed in his posts and I feel...

probably not you that was confused but me! I made so many and then saved them and named them ... only posting the one I engineered into a signal - ha, ha. Whatever the symbols are should be the unconfused answer! I'll remake it again after a second coffee. (very late start this morning...

Contract differentails in Corn futures and Sept vs July

Thank-you Stoic. A well thought-out reply. I am not yet trading corn. I started following it a few months ago and noticed that sometimes they are great moves (gaps) in the overnight. I almost bought last Thursday at 610.50 on the May contract, well I did on the sim - hah, hah, and...

Contract differentails in Corn futures and Sept vs July

Thank you Stoic. It was interesting looking at the 4 years you provided side-by-side. You certainly seem to know your corn. Do you usually trade the spreads? If yes, have you found from your experience, that it is easier to trade the direction of a spread instead of the direction of a...
