I cannot prove that I am right or you are wrong. Companies are not welfare and charity organizations. You cannot expect them to hire more than they need or hire 10% of unemployed that 5% of them have no talent. You should buy the stock if a company lays off people and its revenue goes up...

Although the performance of a stock cannot be verified by day to day price movement, but it will interesting to see how ADI will bounce back from being slightly in red to dark green today. Watch out TXN too. That is also another monster.

Another prediction: ADI most probably have an upgrade by this Friday and will have a surprise run to over 31 by this Friday (option expiry day). TXN might also touch 26.
