We don't have any control over what google deems worthy of indexing.

It worked before because the original server had an http tunneling servlet running on it, which in layman's terms means that it was able to work on people's computers despite them having a firewall. I will see if I can do the same on this one.

That error message will happen if you're behind a firewall.

Perhaps a better questions might be, "What was the last good trading thread that you started on ET?" If a person thinks there aren't any good threads to read, then the best thing for that person to do is to start a thread of his own, and let the rest of us be the judge on how good it is.

Unless we made you click on each and every post that you read, there's really no way of knowing which posts your eyeballs pass over. That's why the system uses the time you last clicked on a thread title as the basis for marking newer posts as unread.

We already have that feature. If you see a little yellow page icon to the left of a thread title, click on that to jump to the first unread post. :)

Yeah, we've never included delayed data for the indexes because we assumed that pretty much everyone will have real-time access to this info from whatever software they're using for their quotes.
