Most of the futures traders I personally know...they trade futures instead of stocks due to "tax advantages". Also, I personally know only a few that trade futures to get around the PDT rule on stocks...I've met a few like that over the recent years but more in the beginning when the markets...

You can use Elitetrader.com forum "search" to look up the words back testing or use Google to become familiar with those words. You can backtest via codes or manual. Regardless, you will need access to historical data to do your backtesting. If you don't want the research it that way...another...

Is there a reason why you do not want to backtest that strategy to see if its valid/profitable instead of asking others ? Seriously, wouldn't you rather put your hard earned money on your backtest results and then simulate trade the strategy to determine you're able to apply it correctly in...

Best place to start is to check the minimum requirements of your trade execution platform and the same for your data vendor. Most brokers and data vendor list the minimum requirements at their website. If yours do not...give the tech department a phone call to find out the minimum requirements...
