Study: Chocolate could be better for your cough than syrup

Today, I prefer chocolate cocao over milk chocolate especially the cocao bars with almonds, cashews or peanuts even though its very expensive. :) I recommend if someone is going to try it in muffins...just chop up a high cocao/dark chocolate bar instead of putting in cocao powder. Many receipes...

Study: Chocolate could be better for your cough than syrup

Correct...its the cocoa because it contains the theobromine to help stop the cough reflex. Cocoa contains like 3x more theobromine than milk chocolate. Yet, the plant that contains the largest amount is the Theobroma cacao...more calcium than cow's milk, highest plant of iron, 30 - 40x stronger...

    Psychological trading books

First, start with books on Behavioural Finance to better understand your cognitive decision making process when real money is on the line and in stressful trading conditions. Next, use your trading psychology books as a supplement to the above. If you really get deep into this stuff, you can...

If you are a good trader, you might be a dummy

The research was about "investments"...not trading. Regardless, I'm confident they would have saw completely different results had it been "real money investments" instead of "fake money game". The cognitive decision making is completely different when its just a simulator versus real money...

Hi Akirit, I recommend you read as many books as possible about behavior finance and trader psychology prior to any books about patterns & strategy development. Yet, if you're talking about automation (strategy developement)...I do not know any books to recommend.

    NQ, seriously?

Exactly...the why is part of the market context or part of that puzzle. Too many people believe that markets do what they do via technical reasons alone when in fact breaking news, schedule news events, geopolitical events etc do in fact impact the price action that we're trading...its part of...

You made $1500 on day one via price action / s/r...then you lost a small amount on the next 2 trades ??? You should only be concerned if your trade method was never backtested on Emini ES futures or never simulated traded or you don't keep any real statistics...any of the three will give you...

NQ / RTY trader rounding the corner to profitability

Nice pics but I would like to see traders on the toilet or even in a bathroom with market screens or some charts pulled up...heck...even a quote screen. ;) Yet, the woman surrounded by ipad & iphones while in the shower looks a little like my girlfriend (a nurse). wrbtrader

NQ / RTY trader rounding the corner to profitability

Every trader that I know that has invested in today's technology (laptops, tablets, portable personal wifi hotspots, international roaming cell phone plans, etc) along with treating their trading like a business... They are not at home trading in their underwear. They are mobile for a reason...

NQ / RTY trader rounding the corner to profitability

Of course...if you treat trading like a business you should evaluate the opportunity cost of trade decisions. Yet, those that do treat trading as a business instead of a hobby or academic pursuit...they're most likely not trading in their underwear nor scalping. In fact, with today's technology...

NQ / RTY trader rounding the corner to profitability

Do not worry about any average or what others are doing considering most are losing. So what was that reversal nuttiness today 12/27/18?

I was monitoring Eurex/Euronext futures as that rebound unfolded in the Emini futures. It begin first in Eurex/Euronext futures prior to the Emini futures fighting back via holding a support area that I was not paying much attention too around 2:20pm est...later confirmed via the price action of...

Profitable on paper, losing money live! Fear plays a big role.

You should start keeping stats on this...you exiting trades early to minimize your loss befor the stop is reached to then see the price action turn back around without you...going into the direction of the original trade to its profit target. With those stats, you can then determine the merits...

Enjoy life...live off your investment portfolio...do a ton of traveling and start new hobbies. Daytrading not needed...its not something you do as a hobby nor when you're bored unless your real goal is to lose 100k while laughing all the way down to the last dollar. wrbtrader

The best trade is staying in cash -

Does that "nibbling" implies investing or daytrading ??? I think when people that say staying in cash is the best investment, they should do exactly that. Thus, no nibbling in the markets...no nothing or actually put in in an investment vehicle. There's just too many people saying that they are...
