Even before the most recent errors, I had already adjusted the max_connections_allowed variable from 300 to 500. It still appears that 500 is not enough to handle the random spikes in traffic, which is what's causing the occasional error message. I'll ratchet it up some more...

I'm not sure I understand the problem. You can only add 2 buddies at a time to your list. So if you have 2, you will be able to add 2 more. When you revisit the list, you'll have 4 showing but there will be 2 blank spaces to add a couple more, and so on and so forth.

That about sums it up. We don't create forums unless there are some significant active threads already taking place. If we see that there is enough discussion about a particular topic to justify a dedicated forum, we will not hesitate to create it.

Recently my computer blew up so I got a new machine with Office 2003 and Windows XP preinstalled. The MS Outlook that comes in Office 2003 does a really good job at filtering out junk mail. It doesn't catch all of it, but it does catch most.
