China Threatens Obama Over Dalai Lama Meeting - Possible economic consequences

time to slap 100% tariffs on Chinese goods. After all, who has the huge trade surplus with Who? China holds other nations like Tibet, Taiwan and others as if they somehow are "renegade provinces"? Let them replace their trillion dollar surpluses trying to sell their plastic toys to their...

Trading contest: only 5.2% were profitable

You are babbling. No one called out, unless it was one of the many confused on the ignore list. And unless you have posted broker statements somewhere showing your prowess, your post and your pointing to your imaginary cartoon friends has little relevance...

Career advise... Am I getting Screw D?

    The case against college.

Thank you in your two posts, of doing a good job in presenting "thought processes of someone WITHOUT an education." No wonder they make half the money and have twice the unemployment rate of college grads. Few will seriously consider the HS grad for a professional position that requires the...

going independent from day job with chronic health problems

The only thing you did of relevance in this post, is spell correctly. There was nothing of "importance of what was posted.", unless you are trying to demonstrate that English is not your second language.

Paying the spread on Interactive Brokers

Then how are you "paying the spread?" The definition of a limit order, is you set a price you want to be filled at, or better. "I want to short at 149.5". You get filled at 149.5 or perhaps 149.25, etc... what do you think you are getting it at?

Paying the spread on Interactive Brokers

I saw no mention of that. Limits usually have positive slippage, so you get "your price." But of course, no guarantee you get filled.

    Beginner seeking advice

frankly, index futures are probably not the best choice for a newbie. If you read enough in the newbie threads, you would likely see this. The general thought here seems to be they are difficult to trade profitably. They are targeted by everyone, especially financial institutions. You may...
