TZA might go to $15 from $10.85 in no time.

maybe he was keeping it as a hedge and profit was not that important. By the way most probably that was not his only position. I believe I have more patience that him if you are questioning S2007S's patience

MCD is in big trouble. May not exist in 5 years

You are right. I concentrate on limited number of stocks and keep trading them. I sell covered PUT after I short it and most of the time they expire and this way I reduce the cost. So You cannot say my short cost was $90. Sometimes I make $2000 by selling covered PUTs or naked Calls in a week...

MCD is in big trouble. May not exist in 5 years

Very true. Patience is the virtue. Rome was not built in one night. I shorted ADI at 65 to 68 and now I am buying it. I have a big patience and long term vision.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Seems that ADI is a good buy in this market. GLD has about $5 room to go up. Oil has no hope in short term. AAPL be traded below $100 in the next 6 months. TZA is rocking but trace back again

I also have wishes and dreams but I am conscious about them and they don't get mixed with the facts.

MCD is in big trouble. May not exist in 5 years

Do you have any proof that anything good is happening to MCD or they are just dreams and wishes? I see proof of bad news every day. Here is one: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/mcdonalds-grilled-over-labor-tax-014850733.html

MCD is in big trouble. May not exist in 5 years

Some investors are jumping into utilities and dividend paying stocks as safe heaven. The reason that MCD has not dropped with the market is just that. Believe me the drop will happen but just with a short lag. Once things go down more, MCD will snap harder. Ex dividend date is Aug 28 so some...

Interactive Brokers - Receives Payment for Order Flow or Not?

Sorry. My last post. You are absolutely right.

Interactive Brokers - Receives Payment for Order Flow or Not?

I wanted to say your statement is not right but you are right in a way but what I am telling you is based on my over 100+ times experience. So what I have seen so far is this: If you put an order on option A and also an order on option B, IB allows that (even if you don't have margin to execute...

Interactive Brokers - Receives Payment for Order Flow or Not?

Auto liquidation does not happen only on option. It can happen on stocks, futures. One good feature of IB is auto liquidation. I love it. I let them control my account and put my ducks in order. I like a tough broker who follows rules and is not forgiving. In long term it is good for you. Please...

Exactly. Look at my execution times. Exactly at the same second and 3 seconds later auto liquidation happened

Interactive Brokers - Receives Payment for Order Flow or Not?

This case happens once in a blue moon (like twice a year for me). I don't call it a bug and actually I like it. I like to have two open orders and I do that because I see sometimes one contract seems not liquid and I put order on another similar option. Once one goes through the other one gets...

Interactive Brokers - Receives Payment for Order Flow or Not?

I had two orders which I believed only one should go through (done this method numerous times I mean one order gets canceled after another order gets executed because of margin). But because of market action and maybe that I did not set my bids that right, both went through at the same time. I...

Interactive Brokers - Receives Payment for Order Flow or Not?

Now you want to know how I make money? don't you? You are going even one step away from topic. When you open an account with a bank, do you tell them how to manage your money? who to lend and where to keep your money? Have you ever seen any problem with IB's execution? My point is why do you...

Interactive Brokers - Receives Payment for Order Flow or Not?

I am not here to discredit anyone's expertise. If it was so easy to attract new customers just by low margin, other new brokers would also have followed that. By the way you cannot call IB customers as gullible. I just say maybe 70% of the IB traders are experienced traders. I did not mean...

Interactive Brokers - Receives Payment for Order Flow or Not?

By the way does your broker charges you a transaction fee when your options are assigned or your shares called away? IB does not. If IB's motto is "lets screw customers" they could easily charge a transaction fee for that. I know many brokers do that which I don't want to name them here.

Interactive Brokers - Receives Payment for Order Flow or Not?

This topic has been discussed many times. As an experienced trader with 20 years in the marke who has dealt with many brokers, my answer is that you are just wasting your time unless you are writing a paper on comparing brokers for your course in university. When a broker starts to screw you...
